To support the delivery of quality solutions to our clients, ensuring 100% client satisfaction and to build long term client relationship for GlassHouse. This job is specific to the Delivery team and requires GlassHouse project delivery expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Degree Level educated or equivalent, either in business or computing discipline.

  • Proven experience as a successful Project Manager / Delivery Consultants on projects with an external client. It is preferred that this individual has experience running large programs. Some client relationship management experience, at least at Client PM level. Pre-sales/ bid support experience.

  • Detailed knowledge of the storage industry and associated emerging trends – its value proposition and supporting technology. Knowledge of the different GlassHouse services across all delivery including the value proposition

  • Proven knowledge or expertise in each of GlassHouse’s services.

  • Strong project estimation skills – able to estimate accurately in time, cost and resources, and to critique the estimation of others.

  • Technical awareness – sufficiently familiar with storage technology to propose and assess the potential solutions.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, both in formal and informal situations.

  • People leadership skills – ability to motivate and coach PM and project team, even in difficult times.

  • Financial acumen – able to understand profitability implications of business decisions, especially as it relates to project accounting.

  • Commercial acumen – able to identify key commercial issues and devise mutually acceptable solutions to both client and GlassHouse.

  • Able and keen to identify and develop additional business opportunities.

  • Able to identify and successfully manage risk.

  • Strong client relationship skills, with the ability to manage and resolve issues quickly and effectively.

  • Ability to articulate business IT alignment value.

  • Demonstrate strong GlassHouse values.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure quality of project delivery to clients in order to ensure client satisfaction, and best position the company for additional business.

  • Provide leadership and support in pre-sales activities to structure specific delivery solutions, ensuring that the clients' expectations can be met within the planned parameters on timing, costs and use of resources.

  • In conjunction with Sales, produce specific Account Plans for with actionable steps to achieve revenue targets.

  • Ensure that all project estimates are robust and realistic and inline with Direct Margin targets.

  • Manage GlassHouse's post-sales relationship with clients to ensure that clients’ expectations are being managed, met and exceeded. It is expected that the Engagement Partner will be a billable resource to project teams.

  • Work with UK Services Team and Management to ensure that all appropriate resources and facilities are available for the project to deliver as planned.

  • Identify and manage any interdependencies between projects with one client

  • Provide support to Project Managers  and project teams in specified accounts to ensure overall profitability of the activity and engagement success both from the client and employee perspective.

  • Manage business issues during the project lifecycle to the satisfaction of the client and GlassHouse. Work with the Project Manager to manage the client’s expectations.
